Elementary Dress Code/Uniform Policy

In order to ensure the students' comfort and safety, foster school pride, and avoid inappropriate attire, elementary students are required to wear a school uniform. Practicality, flexibility and excellent value were important considerations in our item selections and uniform policies.

  • Mountain Laurel Logo Shirts - Our uniform shirt supplier is Land's End. You order directly from them on-line (landsend.com/school) or on their toll-free telephone number, 1-800-469-2222. Catalogs are distributed to all families at least once per year. If you need another copy, please contact our office or request one from Land's End. When ordering, you must refer to our preferred school #9001-0162-7.

You may order any style shirt from the uniform catalog (short or long-sleeved polos, turtlenecks, oxfords, blouses, tees, or sweats). Uniform shirts must have the Mountain Laurel logo and the logo must be embroidered on the following approved shirt color selections: white, maize, gray heather, or evergreen. The embroidery charge per item is currently $5.50. If you especially like our new embroidered logo (we have samples at school if you would like to stop by to see them) and would like to purchase other items from Land's End, feel free to do so. Land's End merchandise is of excellent quality and a good value. In addition, our school receives 3% of net sales - so be sure to include our preferred school number with every order!

The old-style logo shirts may still be worn as uniform shirts. We may still have some remaining inventory for purchase in our office. We will not be re-ordering, so buy them while you can. There is a limited selection of sizes in the following:
