Sandy Baumgart received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. Mrs. Baumgart is married and has two grown children who attended Montessori schools when they were young. Mrs. Baumgart frequently observed in her children's classrooms and loved what she saw.
She decided to go back to school at the Washington Montessori Institute to earn her AMI Primary diploma. She taught for several years in a local school prior to joining Mountain Laurel in September 1993. Mrs. Baumgart loves teaching this age group and enjoys keeping up with her former students now in our elementary and adolescent programs.
